Quigley Wines is back at Blackthorn for a great night of boutique, artisan wines paired with some pretty tasty food. (If I do say so myself).  Five Courses of Culinary Delights are being paired with Five Wines from around the world.  Italy, Spain, and two Americans round out the line up.  This dinner will also be a purchasing event so if you taste something that you'd like to stock in the cellar, you'll have that option.  The dinner begins at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.  The Blackthorn Cancellation Policy will be in effect.

Southern Planation Quail, Local Ginger and Shitake Mushroom Dumplings, Dark Cherry – Thyme – Szechuan Pepper Sauce,

4th Course – 2011 Barba Cesco (Piedmont, Italy)

Beef Carpaccio, Tallegio Cheese Arancini, Wild Mushroom Jus, Fig – Thyme Compote

5th Course – 2012 Pago de Valtarrena (Ribero del Duero, Spain)
