Service Policies & Procedures

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Banquet Policies and Procedures Listed Below.

Menu Selection
Our menu features some of our most popular items. If there are any special requests or dietary needs that are not on our menus they must be approved in advance.

Occasionally, we are asked to offer more than one entrée selection for a seated dinner. We are able to accommodate this request following this procedure.

•Our Chef requests a minimum of 15 orders for each entrée
•Menus for your event are limited to 2 choices only
•The same sides & dessert must be served with each entrée
•Your final count of guests guarantee must be given 3 business days prior to the event. You may increase this number only.
•Steaks are cooked to a “medium” temperature unless otherwise requested.
•Carry-out of extra food is prohibited. 

Banquet Room Reservation & Rental

All banquet rooms must be reserved in advance. Each room has its separate facility charge and food minimum. Please check with event planner for your room's fees. Deposits go towards food minimums. Rental equipment of off premise is provided by The Blackthorn Club for additional charges.

All banquet rooms are subject to availability. We accept event bookings in the order that they are received. We reserve the right to schedule rooms as we see necessary. Your initial room appointment is based upon the estimated head count. Should it become necessary to change rooms for your event we will notify you first.

Guarantees, Charges and Method of Payment

Once we have received your guaranteed guest count we will prepare to serve 10% above your guaranteed number. If your event consists of 20 or fewer guests an exact count is required. The charges are based upon the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests whichever is greater.

A 17% service charge and 9.5% TN sales tax is added to all food and beverage purchases. If your group is tax exempt please let us know prior to your event to ensure we bill properly. Additionally the menu pricing may be subject to change after 90 days of reserving your event date.

An advance deposit may be required prior to your event. After your event the deposit will be applied to your account. If the case that it becomes necessary to cancel your event, food and beverage cancellations must be received 5 days prior to your event to avoid full billing. Advance deposits are non-refundable.

Account balances are due by the conclusion of your event. If you are a member, you may make payment to your account; otherwise payment must be made with either credit card or check. If other terms are desired please discuss alternatives with your planner prior to your event.
